He continued his medical education at Istanbul Marmara University Faculty of Medicine. During his university education, he was an observer in neurogenetic laboratory studies at Yale University School of Medicine in the United States. He started his Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery specialization training at Ankara Dış Kapı Yıldırım Beyazıt Training and Research Hospital. After completing his residency, he worked in Burdur as part of his state service obligation. During this period, he performed Plastic Surgery-related operations on many patients from Turkey and abroad. Dr. Feridun Elmas is a member of ISAPS (The International Society of Plastic Surgery), Turkish Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association (TPRECD), Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Association (EPCD).

He attended to Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine in 2006. After completing his 6-year medical education, he successfully passed the medical specialty examination held in 2012 and was entitled to receive specialization training in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. In 2020, he successfully passed the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery two phased exams, in Brussels and Oxford, and certified his efficiency internationally.
